A note about Polyester
Polyester suits are typically mostly or entirely Polyester or Polyester and PBT (a texturized polyester with natural stretch similar to spandex.) Poly suits hold their shape like Lycra but they last like Nylon. Because of this Poly suits are the best choice for daily training suits.
Manufacturers usually recommend swimmers wear Poly suits one size up from their normal Lycra size (this is reflected in the chart above). However, our experience is that many swimmers do well using their normal Lycra size. Initially Poly suits can feel tight. This is due to the nature of Polyester fabric, which is thicker than Lycra.
